Mission, Vision & Values
Guided by the New European Bauhaus
At ConectaLab, the New European Bauhaus guides how we think, collaborate and deliver our work. Its three core values — sustainability, inclusion and beauty — inform our approach to European projects, international cooperation, communication and cultural management.
We bring these values into practice through participatory processes, collaboration across disciplines and connections between local action and European cooperation.
Our Mission
To help public institutions and their partners develop projects that improve places and people’s lives through sustainability, culture and participation.
We connect European opportunities with local priorities, bringing together the coordination, creativity and communication needed to turn shared ambitions into practical action.
Our Vision
We envision cities and communities where environmental responsibility, cultural life and social inclusion develop together.
Places where heritage remains part of everyday life, public spaces encourage connection, and people can contribute to the decisions that shape their surroundings.
Our Values
Sustainable
Taking responsibility for the future
We consider the environmental and social implications of our work, encouraging responsible use of resources, adaptive reuse and solutions that respond to local needs over time.
Together
Making participation meaningful
We create opportunities for institutions, professionals and communities to work together. We value diverse perspectives and seek accessible ways for people to contribute, with particular attention to those whose voices are less often heard.
Beautiful
Caring about the quality of experience
We understand beauty as the quality of the places, activities and experiences we help create. Through culture, design and attention to context, we aim to strengthen people’s connection to their surroundings and their sense of belonging.
How We Work
A participatory approach
We involve stakeholders throughout the process, helping them identify priorities, shape activities and reflect on results.
Collaboration across disciplines
We connect public administration, culture, research, design and community knowledge to address challenges from different perspectives.
From local action to international cooperation
We bring European ideas into dialogue with local experience, adapting approaches to each place and sharing what we learn with international partners.
From principles to practice
We use these commitments to guide project design, partnership development, activity delivery and communication. For us, the New European Bauhaus is a working framework that shapes both what we do and how we do it.
Cultural Management & Programming
Contemporary culture · Artistic coordination · Cultural spaces
